What is Somatic Therapy?
Somatic therapy is a body-based approach to psychotherapy that helps heal trauma and chronic stress by working with the nervous system — not just thoughts. Instead of only talking about what happened, at a pace the suits the client, we gently notice physical sensations and emotional patterns to support discharge of stress, rebuilding of safety, and resilience.
It’s especially helpful for people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, even when they’re high-functioning on the outside.
