Connection | Collaboration | Care
These values guide how I show up in the therapy space and how we work together.
Who I work with
I welcome adults (18+) from all backgrounds and intersectional identities navigating a variety of challenges, including trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
I welcome anyone seeking a safe, supportive space to explore their life experiences. I am a whole identity and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist.
As a South Asian American therapist, I bring cultural awareness and lived experience to my work, particularly for clients who are:
- South Asian/Indian identifying
- First and second-generation immigrants
- BIPOC individuals navigating cultural dissonance
- Adult children of immigrants balancing family expectations
- Adults carrying intergenerational or family patterns
How I work
I work from a culturally responsive, trauma-informed lens, integrating Somatic Experiencing® alongside attachment-based and parts-informed approaches to support you in a way that feels accessible.
Somatic & Nervous System Focus
Our stories have an important place in healing, and our bodies also hold information and wisdom that words alone can’t capture. Many experiences of trauma, stress, or grief are held in sensations, impulses, or tension. In therapy, we pay attention to these physical signals, working within your window of capacity so you can explore safely and gently.
Narrative & Emotional Exploration
Your story matters, and so do the emotions connected to them. Together, we explore memories, feelings, and experiences while honoring the pace that feels manageable for you.
Practical Tools & Skills
Alongside exploration, I offer grounding, orienting, and regulation techniques that help you feel steadier in your daily life. These tools support integration of therapy insights into your everyday experience.
My therapeutic style
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 20 years practicing and teaching yoga and meditation, which deepened my belief in the connection between body, mind, and heart — and the power of presence.
You will have space to inform how therapy will most benefit you, and this will be an ongoing conversation and collaboration between us.
Key aspects of my style include:
- Integrating mindfulness, somatic awareness, and culturally sensitive practices
- Attuning to both your body and mind
- Balancing curiosity for challenges and strengths
- Offering a gentle and secure space to process, reflect, and grow
Starting Therapy
Therapy is not about fixing yourself or “getting it right.” It’s about creating a space where you can be fully seen, understood, and supported. Through genuine connection and building capacity together, we can work to help you feel more grounded, resilient, and whole.
If you’re curious about what it would be like to work together, I invite you to schedule a free consultation or explore the areas I can support you with.
Investment :
