Maybe if I stay with what seems ordinary, I might discover something other than ordinary.
Maybe if I hold all things that unfold with care, even the things I don’t care for.
I might see something new, different, even familiar, but fresh for the first time.
Maybe if I just keep coming back to this moment, this breathing sensation, this not knowing what will come next.
Life can become an adventure, more than a plan.
Life is too large, spirit too vast, to keep it boxed up.
I’ll hold the plans gently.
So that I can remain open to the mystery that is awaiting.
